Bordelais bike-boat

Pair cycling with vintage wines

Pedalling, drifting, tasting… what a wonderful way to travel! In southwest France, your Bordelais experience will begin in Arcachon, a charming town known for its gingerbread architecture – especially the Ville d’hiver (winter quarter) – and its Dune du Pilat, and will end in Bordeaux, whose port, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is a must-see. Between the two, you will rotate the pleasures of biking and boating. The currents of the Gironde, Garonne and Dordogne Rivers will take you toward the region’s many vineyards, whose famous names - Médoc, Blaye & Bourg, Saint-Émilion, Entre-deux-Mers, Graves & Sauternes, Bordeaux – will make your mouth water. You will definitely need your calf muscles and sea legs for this multifaceted adventure!

Another way to discover Europe
BIKING AND BOATING, double your pleasure: This style of travelling broadens your perspective of the region visited. The pleasure of biking along the route is enhanced by the breathtaking shoreline views from the boat. You pedal and drift, in turn active and contemplative, savouring the moment…
