Amalfi Coast

Let your cycling passion erupt!

The Amalfi Coast, south of Naples, owes its notoriety to its rugged terrain, terraced vineyards and pastel-coloured villages perched between sea and sky. This is the land of Mount Vesuvius, the famous volcano that caused the destruction of cities like Pompeii, in 79 AD. The setting and topography are therefore ideal for pushing your limits on a level-5 cycling route, marked by four stopover towns from where you will make several loops. They include Castellammare di Stabia,  famous for its thermal mineral springs; Salerne, where its Roman cathedral displays a fabulous polychrome mosaic inlay; Paestum, featuring one of the largest archeological parks in southern Italy, which includes monumental vestiges of Greek civilization; Palinuro and its underwater caves, which are a must for divers. Your passion for cycling will erupt  in the land of Vesuvius.

NEW Four stopover towns: This style of travelling allows you to put down your suitcase for a while and take off at a relaxed pace. The fact that your route is looped around four stopover towns limits the number of times you move around and allows you to make the most of the places you visit. Enjoy!
