From day to day




Short route : 71 km • Long route : 316 km

Day 1 - Rendez-vous in Collingwood at 2 :30 pm. Transfer at 3 pm from Collingwood to Port Elgin (1.30 hrs). Arrival in Port Elgin at 4 :30 pm.
Day 2 - Free day or looped route via Sauble Beach, Southampton, Port Elgin (34 to 62 km).
Day 3 - Port Elgin, Tara, Owen Sound (50 km).
Day 4 - Free day or looped route via Big Bay (67 km).
Day 5 - Owen Sound, Walters Falls, Collingwood (71 km).
Day 6 - Looped route via Stayner, Wasaga Beach (53 to 66 km).  Return trip.


The package includes:

  • 5 nights in two to three- star hotel (double occupancy);
  • 5 breakfasts and 1 evening meal;
  • transfer from Collingwood to Port Elgin;
  • baggage transportation between stopover cities (one bag per person, 15-kg maximum);
  • a plan of bike routes in the form of GPX data and paper maps;
  • information to ensure that the trip goes smoothly: contact details and phone numbers of the carriers at destination, bike stores, phone number in case of an emergency, etc.;
  • taxes;
  • protection from the Compensation Fund for Customers of Travel Agents (CFCTA). No charge since January 1st, 2019.
  • presence of a Vélo Québec Voyages representative, if you are a group of 10 or more people.
 
Not included: equipment, such as a bicycle; the presence of a guide; mechanical assistance and access to a relief vehicle; costs of a mechanical or physical mishap.

Transportation between Montréal and Morrisburg (about 7 hrs by car) is not included.
