Scotland

Shades of green

Scotland is a land of sheer-faced, greener-than-green mountains, moors and lochs, ancient castles that defy the passage of time, and villages where everyone gathers at the local pub for a pint of scotch ale or a glass of single malt. As you cycle along, the pure highland air is fragrant with the smell of peat bogs and dew-drenched humus. From picturesque hamlets to romantic villages, you will be greeted by friendly locals in either Gaelic or English with a burred accent. You will then crisscross the breathtaking Isles of Mull and Skye, before heading to the capital of Edinburgh, built on seven volcanic hills each providing a different perspective of the city. Fàilte!
