Finger Lakes

Definitely a thumbs-up!

Former Iroquois territory proudly defended for two centuries, the Finger Lakes region turned to winemaking in the 1830s. Today, it is the leading wine producer in New York State, featuring over one hundred vineyards offering mainly white wine. Therefore, the pleasure of wine-tasting awaits you at the end of each cycling day, in a setting that is both challenging and breathtaking. You will drink in the vivid green of the forests, as well as the deep blue of the lakes you will follow during most of the trip – Cayuga, Seneca and Canandaigua. Definitely a thumbs-up!
