You set the pace
Portugal is a cycling paradise! To enjoy your vacation at your own pace and fully appreciate the endless beaches and charming historic villages, we propose travelling to the Algarve in the off-season. Physical exertion and urban fun can be combined at will, since your itinerary has been divided into four stopover cities. You will spend one to two days in each, in addition to having the choice of an optional loop on the second day. Besides Aljezur, Sagres and Portimão, you will stay in Faro, whose walled old town is well worth the visit, as is the Ria Formosa lagoon, a nature reserve stretching over 17,000 hectares. Wrap up your trip with a few free hours in Lisbon and you have a fascinating program tailored to your needs.
