Jewel of the Mediterranean
Off the coast of Valencia, the largest of the Balearic Islands is a haven for unforgettable cycling excursions among windmills, grapevines and apricot trees. As you make your way through Porto Cristo, Alcúdia, Port de Sóller and Palma, Majorca reveals its many charms: sandy beaches, fishing ports and marinas, the lavish Alfabia Gardens, not to mention the climb to the San Salvador Monastery, where your efforts will be rewarded by a breathtaking view of the almond groves and poppy fields of Sa Pobla. The region is also known for the Caves of Drach and Artà, precious jewels overhanging the sea. Majorca – aptly dubbed a cycling paradise!
