By bike, the charming Montérégie area is sure to please. Regardless of where you begin your loop – Drummondville, Sorel-Tracy, Longueuil or Granby – you will fall in love with a region known for its countless bike paths and local delicacies such as apple and maple products, ciders, wines and cheeses. You will pedal along the Campagnarde and Montérégiade bike paths, as well as that of the historic Chambly Canal, jewel of the Québec’s Route Verte network. You will then follow the St. Lawrence River, with its spectacular lookout points, and bike the Route des Champs which, as its name indicates, will allow you to admire the beauty of the back country.
