Thanks to the "Voyagez à vélo" contest, you could discover the magic of our events by taking part in the Grand Tour, the Petite Aventure and the Festival Go vélo Montréal, or find out about new trends, news and innovations in cycling with a subscription to our magazine Vélo Mag. The total value of the prizes is approximately $3,500.

1st prize 1 participation in the Grand Tour formula Week-end, August 5 to 7, 2023, for 2 people, valued at $1050.

2nd prize

1 participation in La Petite Aventure, from June 30 to July 2, 2023, for 2 people, valued at $730.
3rd prize 1 Gift certificate valid on our European trips, valued at $500.
4th prize 1 participation in the Défi Vélo Mag des Cantons-de-l'Est, on September 9, 2023, for 2 people, valued at $190
5th to 9th prizes 5 (five) family passes for the Tour de l'Île de Montréal 2023. Package includes two adult passes and two passes for children under 17, valued at $520*.

  1. Eligibility requirements

The "Travel by Bike" Contest is open to all residents of Canada who have reached the age of majority in their province or territory of residence before the Contest Period. Excluded are permanent and occasional employees of Vélo Québec and its Association, Events, Travel and Publishing divisions, as well as permanent and occasional employees of the Contest Sponsors, and members of the boards of directors of said companies, including persons with whom they reside or with whom they are related.

  1. Participation mode

To enter the "Travel by bike with Vélo Québec Voyages" contest, you must register via the online form at https://www.veloquebecvoyages.com/concours-voyagez-a-velo/ or by completing an entry form available at trade shows where we will be present*, tell us your dream destination for a cycling trip and agree to receive communications from Vélo Québec and its Association, Events, Travel and Publishing divisions.

The contest period begins on February 24, 2023 at 00:01 a.m. and ends on April 2, 2023 at 11:59 p.m.

All times are Eastern Time. No purchase necessary.

Limit one (1) entry per person. Each entry submitted counts as one (1) entry into the contest.

  1. How the prize is awarded

On Tuesday, April 11, 2023 at 12 p.m., at the offices of Vélo Québec Voyages, located at 1251 Rachel Street East, Montreal, Quebec H2J 2J9, a random draw will be held from all entries received. Twenty-two (22) participants will be drawn at random and will be eligible to win the prizes indicated below. The1st winner will win the1st prize, the2nd winner will win the2nd prize and so on up to the 24th winner who will win the 24th prize. Winners will be notified by e-mail. If the winner cannot be contacted within five (5) business days of the draw, or if the winner incorrectly answers the mathematical skill-testing question, or if the winner declines the prize, or if the winner fails to return the liability release form as requested by the Contest Organizer, another entrant will be randomly selected.

  1. Participants are eligible to win the following prizes:
  • 1st prize: 1 (one) Grand Tour Weekend package for 2 (two) people, valued at $1050. Non-cash, non-transferable.
  • 2nd prize: 1 (one) participation in La Petite Aventure, for 2 (two) people, valued at $730. Non-cash, non-transferable.
  • 3rd prize: 1 (one) $500 travel gift certificate. Not redeemable for cash, and non-transferable.
  • 4th prize: 1 (one) entry in the Eastern Townships Mag Bike Challenge, September 9, 2023, for 2 people, valued at $190. No cash value and non-transferable.
  • 5th to 9th prizes: 5 (five) family passes for the Tour de l'Île de Montréal 2023 (5 winners drawn at random will win 1 family pass). Package includes two adult passes and two passes for children under 17, valued at $519.50. No cash value and non-transferable.
  • 10th to 14th prizes: 5 (five) family passes for the Tour la Nuit 2023. (5 winners drawn at random will win 1 family pass). Package includes two adult admissions and two admissions for children under 17, valued at $440. No cash value and non-transferable.
  • 15th to 24th prizes: 10 (ten) Vélo Mag prizes, including a one-year subscription to the magazine and your choice of one of the following titles: Guide du fatbike or Guide pratique du vélo montagne, in paper or digital format, at the winner's discretion: Guide du fatbike or Guide pratique du vélo de montagne, in paper or digital version, winner's choice, valued at $519.5. (10 winners drawn at random will win 1 1 subscription and 1 guide of their choice) Non-cashable and non-transferable.

The Prize will be delivered in Canada only by the Contest Organizer within 4 to 6 weeks of contacting the Prize winner.

  1. To be declared a winner, the selected entrant must first correctly answer the mathematical skill-testing question. He/she must also sign and return the liability waiver form in accordance with the Contest Organizer's instructions.
  2. The Prize must be accepted as awarded. It may not be transferred, refunded, exchanged or sold for cash. No substitution will be permitted. If the advertised Prize is unavailable for any reason, the Contest Organizer reserves the right to replace it with another prize of equivalent or greater value.
  3. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received. Any entry that is incomplete, illegible or does not comply with the official rules may be rejected by the Contest Organizer. The Contest Organizer and Sponsors are not responsible for any errors or omissions in any materials or advertising associated with this contest. In the event of any inconsistency between the contest documents or publicity and the present rules, the latter shall take precedence. All entries become the property of the Contest Organizer.
  4. By entering the contest, the winner authorizes the Organizer to use, if required, his/her name and city of residence for publicity purposes, without any form of compensation.
  5. The winner releases Vélo Québec Voyages, its affiliated companies and agencies, all Contest Sponsors and their respective directors, officers and employees from any liability for damage or loss arising from participation in this draw or from the awarding, acceptance or use of the Prize.
  6. Refusal to accept a Prize releases Vélo Québec Voyages, its affiliated companies and agencies, their respective directors, officers and employees, as well as the Sponsors, their employees, collaborators and directors from any obligation to the winner.
  7. Personal information, such as name, telephone number and e-mail address, is collected solely for the purpose of administering this contest and will not be used for any other purpose without the entrant's consent. The Contest Organizer will only communicate with entrants for promotional purposes if entrants give their consent in the space provided on the entry form.
  8. The Organizer assumes no responsibility for any damage or loss that may be caused directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, by the use of the veloquebecvoyages.com site or by the transmission of information in connection with the contest.
  9. Any litigation respecting the conduct or organization of a publicity contest may be submitted to the Régie des alcools, des courses et des jeux du Québec for a ruling. Any litigation respecting the awarding of a prize may be submitted to the Régie only for the purpose of helping the parties reach a settlement.
