INFORMATION FOR PARTICIPANTS - DAY 3 - MONDAY, AUGUST 4
Loops northeast of Quebec City
Today, we're off to the other side of the Quebec countryside. In the direction of Lac-Beauport and Sainte-Brigitte-de-Laval, for a slightly shorter regular loop.
Weekend returns - Leaving after three days? Here's the schedule for the shuttle back to Saint-Anselme:
- 4:00 p.m. to 6:15 p.m. - Bike drop-off in the 53′ truck near the Festi-douche, and registration
- 6:45 pm - Boarding with your luggage. You can leave your luggage in a tent near the truck in advance, but you'll have to pick it up to put it on the bus.
- 7:00 p.m. - Departure from Quebec City
- 8:30 p.m. - Arrival in Saint-Anselme. End of unloading expected around 9 p.m.
If you need to return to Saint-Anselme and weren't registered for a 3-day package, drop by the Info booth to reserve a seat on the daily return shuttle, at a cost of $25. It also leaves the village at the same time.
INFOS Tour d'un jour : Have you decided to come and ride with us this Sunday? Come early in the morning to our Quebec Village (Collège Saint-Charles-Garnier: 1150 Boulevard René-Lévesque O, Quebec City, QC G1S 1V7). Parking is available at Holland Elementary School (940 Av. Ernest-Gagnon, Québec, QC G1S 3R5) or on adjacent streets. Your bracelets, received by mail, give you access to all Grand Tour services for the day. Then you can hit the road at your leisure.

- Come and try out several outdoor games (spikeball, badminton, arrow bow and Finnish bowling) supplied by Décathlon between 2 and 8 p.m.!
- Pick up Vélo Québec items at our village boutique between 12:00 and 21:00.
- Come and enjoy a good beer from Siboire, the official beer of the Grand Tour.
- If you have any questions, unforeseen circumstances or last-minute changes, come and see us at the INFO Vélo Québec booth, which will be open today from 6:30 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. in the village.

Regular route, 67 km
Today's regular route is slightly shorter, with more memories per kilometer!
The morning is all about climbing, but everything that goes up must come down, and that's what awaits you from just before the lunch stop.

Gravito stop 1 - km 18
Take time to refuel in Charlesbourg, before continuing up to Lac-Beauport.
Optional route 1, +27 km
This optional morning route takes you to Lac-Delage. And following a lake means a relatively flat route.

Lunch stop - km 33
Dinner is served in Sainte-Brigitte-de-Laval.
The lunch stop is open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Optional route 2, +18 km
How about a lasso-style detour after (or before!) the lunch break? Take a turn at the aptly named La Branche.

Gravito stop 2 - km 49
Take time to refuel east of Beauport before following the river to our village.
Please note that sections of the route on bike paths are not accessible to our vehicles, especially support vehicles. Support staff will be on the bike paths to help cyclists requiring immediate assistance.
In the village
At Le Village, in the heart of beautiful Quebec City, you'll find a wide range of activities. Whether you're looking to unwind, have a drink or take your mind off things, we've got you covered!
Today in the village, you can :
- Shower at Festidouches between 6 a.m. and 9 a.m. and between 2 p.m. and 8 p.m.
- Enjoy a massage therapy session between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. (lunch stop) and between 2 p.m. and 10 p.m. (village):
- Rates :
Drop-in (10 a.m. - 2 p.m.): $20 for 10 minutes, $25 for 15 minutes and $30 for 20 minutes (taxes included).
Village (2 pm - 10 pm): $55 for 30 minutes, $100 for 55 minutes (taxes included). Book your session at the massage therapy kiosk in the Village before you hit the road! Reserve your massage therapy session in advance by texting Maude at 819 817-8958 with your choice of time slot. You'll receive a prompt reply confirming your appointment or suggesting an alternative time slot. Don't wait to book your next session!
- Rates :
- Enjoy the many board games offered by SOCIOJEUX between 3 pm and 9 pm.
- Spend a relaxing moment in yoga from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. and pilates from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. (yoga mat not provided).
- Watch a film at the village cinema, from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.
- Swimming at the Saint-Sacrement pool between 3 p.m. and 8 p.m., a 1.5 km bike ride from the village (free)
- Have a drink (or two, or three... ) at the bistro between 3 pm and 10:30 pm.
- Mechanical workshop with Denise Belzil, from 4 to 5 p.m.
- Musical entertainment in the bistro from 3 pm to 6 pm.
- Crash Bandfrom 6 to 7 p.m., a group of 15- to 17-year-olds from Québec City
- Celebrate with the Grand Tour mechanical team during a DJ set by one of the team members at the bistro between 8:30 and 10:30 pm.
