Day 1
Arrival at Pointe-à-la-Croix.
Welcome to Pointe-à-la-Croix, the starting point of your journey. At the crossroads between Quebec and New Brunswick, you will discover the beauty of the Restigouche River, which, like you in the coming days, flows into Chaleur Bay.
Day 2
Pointe-à-la-Croix. Escuminac, Miguasha, Nouvelle, Carleton-sur-Mer (34 to 40 miles).
The Restigouche River is beautiful, but we're here for Chaleur Bay! After traveling a few dozen kilometers along the river, the deep blue sea comes into view as you pass through Miguasha National Park. From this point on, you'll never want to leave the coast!
Day 3
Carleton-sur-Mer, Maria, Gesgapegiag, New Richmond, Caplan, St-Siméon, Bonaventure. Option via St-Jules (41 or 45 miles).
Today, the air smells of the sea on the roads of the Gaspé Peninsula! Maria, New Richmond, Saint-Siméon... the villages pass by and the road is smooth, allowing you to enjoy the majestic landscape that unfolds before you.
Day 4
Bonaventure, New Carlisle, Paspébiac, Shigawake, Port-Daniel, Newport, Pabos Mills, Chandler (86 km).
Baie-des-Chaleurs still envelops us in its majestic blue curtain, but this time we're climbing a little, so get your legs ready before you set off! It's in the last 30 kilometers of the day, particularly towards L'Anse-aux-Gascons, that the road climbs. Hang in there, because when you arrive in Chandler, you can cool off or reward your efforts with a delicious seafood platter!
Day 5
Chandler, Petit-Pabos, Grande-Rivière, Ste-Thérèse-de-Gaspé, Cap d’Espoir, L’Anse-à-Beaufils, Percé. Option via La Petite-France, St-Isidore-de-Gaspé. (31 to 38 miles).
By the fifth day, Baie-des-Chaleurs holds no more secrets for you... or so it would have you believe! The gently rolling road allows you to fully immerse yourself in the magnificent scenery, with Percé Rock awaiting you at the end of the road! Standing before this natural wonder, you can say "mission accomplished"!
Day 6
Free day or loop via Weygand, Ireland. (18 km).
After all that effort, it's time to enjoy yourself! That's why we're offering you a free day around Percé before heading back to Pointe-à-la-Croix the next day. Unless...
Not satisfied yet? Discover the heights of Percé with a 30-kilometer loop. Be warned! Have a light breakfast this morning, as the loop starts with a 250-meter climb after just 2 kilometers!
Day 7
10 a.m.: Return transfer to Pointe-à-la-Croix (3.5 hours).
