Duration
8 nights

5 - Difficult - mountainous - 60 to 110 km
This training-style cycling trip invites you to stay at a single hotel in Cambrils, a charming seaside resort on the Costa Daurada, and set out each day to tackle a new loop. Designed for cyclists in good physical condition looking for a more athletic vacation, it offers challenging routes where elevation gain and distance build up over the course of each day.
Starting in Cambrils, the various loops take you from the shimmering sea to the mountainous hinterland, along scenic roads lined with vineyards, olive groves, and almond trees. Steep climbs, long descents, and spectacular scenery punctuate the rides, particularly as you pass through the villages of the Priorat, a famous Catalan wine region.
After a hard workout, returning to the same hotel gives you a chance to relax and fully enjoy Cambrils: a stroll along the beach, a glass of cava on a terrace, or a walk through the lively streets of the harbor. A training camp under the Mediterranean sun, where athletic challenges, fine dining, and the Catalan way of life come together.
