Light in the Style of Van Gogh

Linking Toulouse to the Mediterranean, the Canal du Midi is characterized by the extraordinary light that inspired Van Gogh. Rich in history thanks to cities like Carcassonne and its medieval citadel, or Narbonne, the first Roman colony outside Italy, it offers a bountiful table where cassoulets and sausages take center stage.

And to help you fully enjoy this delightful itinerary, your route is centered around three base towns from which you can explore the surrounding area at your own pace. Cruise along the canal roads at your own pace, taking in the stunning scenery and stopping at every turn to discover the area’s rich history.
