The Netherlands’ reputation as a cycling nation is well established! A true cyclist’s paradise, the country has been doing everything in its power since the 1970s to enable people to explore the entire country by bike.
This 14-day journey will take you from the south to the north of the Netherlands, where you’ll cycle past windmills and polders—those iconic landscapes that were once nothing but expanses of water but have since been reclaimed as habitable land to expand the country’s territory!
Since the terrain is mostly flat, it’s ideal for cyclists of all levels.
Since the route is so easy to navigate, you’ll be full of energy to enjoy the beautiful cities and sights along the way, including the charming urban canals of Delft and Haarlem, as well as the stunning island of Texel and its landscapes reminiscent of the Maritime Provinces.
