Day 1
Arrival at Pointe-à-la-Croix.
Welcome to Pointe-à-la-Croix, the starting point of your journey. At the crossroads of Quebec and New Brunswick, you'll discover the beauty of the Restigouche River, which, like you in the next few days, plunges into Baie-des-Chaleurs.
Day 2
Pointe-à-la-Croix. Escuminac, Miguasha, Nouvelle, Carleton-sur-Mer (60 to 66 km).
The Restigouche River may be pretty, but we're here for the Baie-des-Chaleurs! After a few dozen kilometers following the river, the Big Blue is revealed as you pass through Parc national de Miguasha. From then on, you'll never leave the shore!
Day 3
Carleton-sur-Mer , Maria, Gesgapegiag, New Richmond, Caplan, Saint-Siméon, Bonaventure (63 km).
Today, you can smell the sea air on the roads of the Gaspé Peninsula! Maria, New Richmond, Saint-Siméon... villages come and go, and the roads are gentle enough to let you appreciate the majestic scenery before you.
Day 4
Bonaventure, New Carlisle, Paspébiac, Shigawake, Port-Daniel, Newport, Pabos Mills, Chandler (85 km).
Baie-des-Chaleurs still envelops us in its majestic blue curtain, but this time we're taking on a bit of altitude, so get your legs ready before you set off! It's in the last 30 kilometers of the day, particularly towards L'Anse-aux-Gascons, that the road rises. Take heart, the arrival in Chandler will allow you to refresh yourself, or drown your efforts in a delicious seafood platter!
Day 5
Chandler, Petit-Pabos, Grande-Rivière, Sainte-Thérèse-de-Gaspé, Cap-d'Espoir, L'Anse-à-Beaufils, Percé (45 to 53 km).
By day five, Baie-des-Chaleurs holds no secrets for you... or so it would have you think! The gently undulating road lets you soak up all the magnificent scenery, and at the end of the road, you arrive at Percé Rock! When you see this natural wonder, you can say "mission accomplished"!
Day 6
Day at leisure or loop via Route des Failles, Cannes-de-Roches, Coin-du-Banc (30 km).
After the effort, it's time to enjoy! That's why we're offering you a free day around Percé before heading back to Pointe-à-la-Croix the next day. Unless, of course...
Can't get enough? Discover the heights of Percé with a 30-km loop. But be careful! We're having a light breakfast this morning, as we start the loop with more than 250 metres of ascent from kilometer 2!
Day 7
10am: Transfer back to Pointe-à-la-Croix (3 h 30).
