From Rivière-du-Loup to Matane, you’ll only briefly leave the banks of the St. Lawrence River, which will accompany you on your journey like a gentle guide leading you toward the Gaspé Peninsula.

Day 1
Arrival in Rivière-du-Loup.
Loop via St-Arsène, l’Isle-Verte, and Cacouna. Option to continue to Saint-Éloi (50 or 77 km).
Day 2
Rivière-du-Loup, Saint-Épiphane, Saint-François-Xavier-de-Viger, Saint-Clément, Saint-Jean-de-Dieu, Trois-Pistoles. Short route via L’Isle-Verte (42 or 81 km).
Day 3
Trois-Pistoles, St-Mathieu-de-Rioux, St-Fabien, Le Bic, Rimouski. Option via Bic National Park (71 or 75 km).
Day 4
Rimouski, Sainte-Luce-sur-Mer, Sainte-Flavie. Alternative route via Saint-Anaclet-de-Lessard, Mont-Joli, Price (31 or 56 km).
Day 5
Ste-Flavie, Grand-Métis, Saint-Octave-de-Métis, Métis-sur-Mer, Les Boules, Baie-des-Sables, St-Ulric, Matane (65 km).
Day 6
10:15 a.m.*: Transfer from Matane to Rivière-du-Loup (2 hours 30 minutes).
