Cycling in the kingdom of wine
From Alsace to the heart of Burgundy, via Franche-Comté, this 15-day trip will give you a taste of the gentle French countryside, but also of the viticultural prowess of the regions you'll pass through, veritable monuments of wine in France.
Along the country's major rivers - the Rhône, the Rhine, the Doubs and the Saône - you'll ride along a high-quality cycle path, the Eurovélo 6, allowing you to make the most of the enchanting scenery without having to worry about sharing the road with cars.
Then, when you're off the trail, you'll explore little-traveled vineyard roads that will plunge you straight into the region's agricultural wealth, and will surely inspire you to make a few stops to try the local produce!
