Guadeloupe, land of bicycles! For its dream setting, its tropical maritime climate, its velvety asphalt, its cycling tradition - already 60 years of international cycling tours on this small French territory. There's no doubt that the butterfly archipelago will give you wings!
From Pointe-à-Pitre, you'll drive onto the island of Grande-Terre, a plain bordered by mangrove swamps to the south-west, where you'll also find the popular Riviera; then onto the island of Marie-Galante, hilly and nicknamed "Grande Galette"; finally onto the island of Basse-Terre, mountainous and covered in tropical forest from north to south, with its many rivers and waterfalls, not forgetting its summit: the Soufrière volcano, culminating at 1467 m.
