Explore the Lower Laurentians and Western Montérégie

The Parcours des Traverses will transport you from one shore to the other, allowing you to discover enchanting and diverse views, atmospheres, and landscapes. Enjoy a pleasant break on the water as you cross on the Oka/Hudson and Passeur Carillon/Pointe Fortune ferries, and appreciate the route that runs along the shores of Lake Deux-Montagnes, winding through the lands, villages, and hills of the Lower Laurentians and Vaudreuil-Soulanges.

 

Self-guided driving

With the Self-guided option, enjoy your stay however you want, in complete independence. We give you the itinerary, book your accommodation, and the rest is up to you!

 

Package includes

 

2 nights in hostels, double occupancy;

 

2 breakfasts;

luggage transport between each stopover city (one per person, maximum 15 kg);

GPX data, maps, and daily itineraries in electronic format;

  • parking at the Auberge de l’Abbaye d’Oka;
  • breakfasts
  • information to ensure the trip runs smoothly: contact details and phone numbers for transport providers at the destination, bike shops, an emergency number, etc.;
  • Local products worth $50 per room, offered by Tourisme Vaudreuil-Soulanges via Auberge des Gallant;
  • a $25 credit applicable to restaurant 1171 at Auberge des Gallant;
  • taxes;
  • the protection provided by the Travel Agents Customer Compensation Fund (FICAV), which is $1 per $1,000, and its applicable rebate;

Not included: transportation of passengers, their luggage, and their bicycles to the starting point; ferry fees between Carillon and Pointe-Fortune on day 1 and Hudson and Oka on day 2 (payable on site in cash only); equipment, such as bicycles; the presence of a guide; mechanical assistance and access to a support vehicle; costs in the event of mechanical or physical problems.
