For the pleasure of the stomach and calves alike
Welcome to the land of rock-side châteaux, foie gras, truffles and sweet white wines. Here, life slows down and you feel as if you've travelled back to a simpler time, when France and its people knew how to enjoy the pleasures of good things.
By bike, your efforts will be rewarded at the end of the day with rich meals featuring Périgord agriculture and livestock, still steeped in the region's royal history. So, from Cahors to Sarlat via Rocamadour, you'll travel through the ages, from prehistoric caves to Gallo-Roman remains, from the medieval period to the early Renaissance, not forgetting the roads to Compostela. Make way for cultivated epicureanism!
