A Relaxing Trip to Puglia

Head to the heel of Italy’s boot, the region of Puglia, where life is good and cycling is a pleasure.

Discover its two coasts, which border the Adriatic and Ionian Seas, brimming with history, olive trees, and shades of blue that will fill your eyes with joy.

Amid the trulli—round houses with conical roofs—and the sassi—the region’s famous cave dwellings—you’ll explore places where tradition and history blend seamlessly, including Baroque and Romanesque masterpieces such as the cathedrals and basilicas in Gallipoli, Otranto, Brindisi, and Alberobello.

Puglia by bike

You’ll ride along gentle paths that let you fully savor the laid-back pace of life in these small villages—like a journey back in time to a simpler era, with your eyes fixed on the vast blue Mediterranean.
