Biography

In search of thrills, André cycled across Canada at the age of 17 and discovered a true passion for adventure sports such as cycling, trekking, and rafting. His many journeys have introduced him to different cultures in the Americas, Asia, and Europe. His passion for high-altitude hiking has taken him to the Cordillera de Blanca in Peru, Everest base camp, and several volcanoes in Chile.

I have been on several cycling tours, and crossing Canada was my first. My trip to Morocco introduced me to new cultures, and cycling brought me closer to the locals, who would come up to me and talk to me, curious to know why I was traveling by bike. Cuba by bike is a welcoming destination and a great way to see the reality of the people, which is a far cry from all-inclusive resorts.
