Biography

A thrill-seeker, André crossed Canada by bike at the age of 17, discovering a real passion for adventure sports: cycling, trekking and rafting. His many travels have introduced him to different cultures in the Americas, Asia and Europe. His passion for high-mountain trekking has taken him to the Cordillera de Blanca in Peru, the Everest base camp and several volcanoes in Chile.

I've been on a number of cycle-touring trips, and crossing Canada was my initiation. My trip to Morocco introduced me to new cultures, and cycling brought me into close contact with the locals, who came to see me and talked to me curiously to find out why I was traveling by bike. Cuba by bike is a warm destination, a great way to see the reality of the people, which is far from all-inclusive.
