For this 27th edition, Vélo Québec transports you to Montérégie for 3 days of pure pleasure. Located in the heart of the town of Ormstown, our village will welcome young and old with everything they need for an unforgettable stay.
Whether with family, friends or on their own, this event brings together thousands of cyclists who ride the most beautiful routes, and meet up in the village in the evening to share memorable evenings in a festive atmosphere!
It is recommended that you check le Petit Déchaîné daily until the end of La Petite Aventure, as updates and additional information will be added daily.

Reducing our environmental footprint
To make our events more eco-friendly, we strongly recommend that you bring your own reusable utensils and crockery. This initiative is in line with our eco-responsibility approach and will considerably reduce our waste. Reusable utensils and crockery will be on sale at the village store. Sinks and dishwashing equipment will be provided.
Carpooling

Shuttles
If you have chosen the shuttle option, here are the meeting points:
You must arrive at your meeting point 30 minutes before departure.
Montréal: Maison des cyclistes - 1251 Rachel Street East, Montréal, Québec, H2J 2J9 - departure June 29 at 7:30 a.m. / return July 1 at 6:00 p.m.
Saint-Lambert: Collège Champlain - 900 Riverside Street, Saint-Lambert, Quebec, J4P 3P2 - departure June 29 at 8:00 a.m. / return July 1 at 5:30 p.m.
Aréna Régional de Huntingdon: 1567 Chemin Fairview, Huntingdon, QC J0S 1H0 - arrival at start site on June 29th at 9:00 am / departure from start site on July 1st at 4:00 pm
The great departure
Parking
You can leave your vehicle at the start site. The cost of parking for the three days is $10 per vehicle, payable at the entrance. Cash only.
Luggage
After arriving at the departure site, you can leave your luggage with the truck for transport to the village. A valet service is available for those who do not wish to take their luggage to the truck. The service is provided by a local sports team, for which the event is a fundraiser. A fee of $2 per bag is charged, payable in cash directly to the valets. As this is a fundraiser, feel free to donate more!
This year, the option of adding an extra piece of luggage is available. If you didn't select it at the time of booking, you can contact a member of our team to add it to your package. You will also be able to take advantage of this offer on departure on June 29. Details to follow.
Wristbands
Your identification bracelets have been mailed. You should have received them by now, or will do so in the next few days.
- Pink bracelets: You will receive two (2).
- You'll need a wristband to enter the village and collect your meals.
- The BAGAGE bracelet must be worn on your luggage.
- Green and white wristbands: If you've chosen a vegetarian (green wristband) or gluten-free (white wristband) menu, you'll also need to wear these wristbands.
If you haven't received your wristbands before departure, please come to the info booth on the first day. We'll be happy to give you new ones.

Tent rental
Have you rented a tent from Vélo Québec Voyages? You have been given a tent card. The number on the card corresponds to the number of your tent. Please attach it to your luggage (your luggage will be identified with a card and a pink bracelet). At the departure site, please drop off your luggage at the "Camion bagages Location Tente" truck.

Day 1 - Hungtindon to Ormstown
Today marks the start of the Little Adventure 2024 presented by Milk! We hope your chains are oiled, your shorts adjusted and your tires inflated, because today, we're rolling!
Rendezvous in Huntingdon for the grand start of La Petite Aventure! Then on to Saint-Antoine-Abbé and back to Ormstown at the end of the day.

All good things must come to an end, and today sadly marks the end of the 27th Little Adventure presented by Milk. To end on a high note, we're returning to our starting point at theHuntingdon Regional Arena, where we'll take you along some lovely country roads before reaching our final destination for the end of this Little Adventure.

At La Petite Aventure, there's never a dull moment! Whether you're looking for the relaxation of a massage, the festive side of a bistro or the childhood feeling of jumping on a trampoline, it's all possible. Our village is tailor-made to ensure that your after-bike experience matches the day you spent pedaling in one of Quebec's most beautiful regions, the Montérégie.
As life is well done, everything is in the same place! In the village, you will find every day :

FAQ
Luggage transportation
At La Petite Aventure, we transport your luggage from one stopover to the next. We accept only one piece of luggage per person. For your own safety and that of our baggage handlers, please ensure that your luggage weighs no more than 22 kg. You must submit your baggage to a weight check at the time of departure in Huntingdon. Any excess must be returned to your vehicle.
When you registered, you had the option of choosing an extra piece of luggage. In this case, an additional luggage bracelet will be sent to you. It will also be possible to take advantage of the extra baggage at the departure, on June 29 in Huntingdon, at a cost of $50.
The Petite Aventure course day by day
In the tab of each day, you will find the routes on the Ride with GPS application as well as the maps in printable format (PDF).
To help you plan your Petite Aventure, it is possible - using a phone, computer or tablet - to see maps and topographic profiles with the Ride with GPS platform.
This platform offers you an array of superior features:
- Voice navigation
- Offline access to maps
- Detailed maps and itineraries (cuesheets) in PDF format (data is provided for information purposes only)
- Advanced route notifications with GPX (or TCX) files. If you want to access these features, please follow these steps: Register for the event on Ride with GPS.
You will be prompted to register if you are new to the site or to log in if you already have an account. It's free. The event will automatically sync with your mobile and online account.Do you have a GPS or smartphone? Check out the short navigation guide to familiarize yourself with the Ride with GPS platform.
One week prior to the Petite Aventure, you will receive an email update of the course maps, including the presence of restrooms. It is best to wait for this last update before downloading the data into your GPS, if applicable.
Insurance coverage
It is the responsibility of each traveler to ensure adequate insurance coverage (medical, luggage and bicycle). Vélo Québec Voyages assumes no responsibility for loss, theft or damage to your luggage and personal effects (including your bicycle) during your trip, including the transportation of your bicycle by truck. Please note that many home insurance companies cover property damaged or stolen outside the home. Check with your company.
Road behaviour
We won't be the only ones out and about during this long weekend. You will be riding on the road system in part and the roads will not be closed to vehicular traffic. Please keep this in mind and RIDE SAFELY. Please take this opportunity to remind the younger ones who are accompanying you. The organization has committed itself to more "cyclocivism" with the authorities and will not hesitate to call you to order if your behavior puts your life and that of others in danger.
Tagging
The route is marked with signs. These signs will also indicate the presence of the various service points (toilets, refreshments, lunch stop, water, etc.). Any last minute deviation will be indicated, if necessary, with the help of DETOUR signs.
Closing of optional courses
The optionals indicate a closing time so that all participants can cross the finish line by 6:00 pm. In addition to being indicated on the course sign at the beginning of the optional course, closing time information is also provided on the maps, where applicable.
Charging point for electronic devices
If you need to recharge your phone, tablet or bike computer, go to the school's designated charging station, where a space is provided for this purpose. Details to follow.
Meals and allergies
When you registered, we asked you to choose a meal type (regular/vegan/gluten-free). However, we are aware that some participants may have more specific allergies or intolerances.
Full menus are available on the daily pages of this Petit déchaîné. If you'd like more details on ingredients and meal preparation, the on-site catering service has a complete list of ingredients and can provide you with the information you need to make sure you don't eat any foods you're allergic to.
RV camping/camping
First of all, please note thatno services are provided, so it won't be possible to connect your van to an electrical outlet or a water connection.
1. On the day of your departure, make sure you hang the small card with the van number you received in the post on your rear-view mirror. This confirms that your vehicle is registered for the event. If you haven't received one, we can give you one at the Huntingdon information booth on the morning of your departure.
2. Arrive at the starting site at the Huntingdon Regional Arena (1567, Chemin Fairview, Huntingdon, Québec, J0S 1H0) between 7:30 and 8:45 a.m. You' ll need to drop off your bike and give your name at the information booth to confirm your arrival. 3. You can then drive your van to the village of Ormstown, to theChateauguay Valley Regional High School (1597 Route 138A, Ormstown, Quebec, J0S 1K0) to park between 8:15 and 9:15 a .m. A team member will be on hand to show you where to park. Shuttle buses, for passengers only (without bikes), will bring you back to Ormstown village at 8:30 and 9:30 a .m. so you can start your bike.

Broken bracelet
If you've damaged your wristband during the Little Adventure, go to the INFO booth with your wristband and we'll exchange it for an undamaged one.

Would you like to arrive the day before departure?
If you wish to arrive the day before departure, you can go to the village located in Ormstown at Chateauguay Valley Regional High School (1597 Route 138A, Ormstown, Quebec, J0S 1K0). You can pitch your tent between 3 p.m. and 8 p.m. in the camping area identified on this site map.
Please note that no services will be provided overnight. You will have access to drinking water and dry toilets.
The following day (June 29), you'll need to leave the village parking lot with your car by 8 a.m. at the latest to set off for Huntington. You can leave your luggage in your tent, but the site will be unguarded all day.
