Due to the risk of a Canada Post strike, we have decided not to send the hiking booklet and your bracelets by mail.
We offer two options for retrieving them:
Option 1: In person at the Maison des cyclistes
- Dates : June 18, 19, 20, 23, 25 or 26
- Hours: between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m.
- Address: Vélo Québec Voyages at the Maison des cyclistes (1251, rue Rachel Est, Montréal, QC H2J 2J9)
Option 2: At the start site
A recycling kiosk will be set up under the big bistro tent (at the Cégep de Drummondville start site):
- Day 0 (June 27): from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m.
- Day 1 (June 28): from 6:30 a.m.
Arriving on Day 1? We invite you to :
- Parking your vehicle
- Collect your envelopes from the marquee
- Return to your vehicle to install the BAGAGE bracelets on your bags
- You can then take your luggage to the luggage truck.
This means you won't have to transport your luggage over long distances.
Overflow parking lots: we'll pick up your luggage at these locations. So you don't have to bring it yourself.

For this 28th edition, Vélo Québec takes you to no less than 3 tourist regions: Centre-du-Québec, Eastern Townships and Montérégie, for 3 days of pure pleasure. Located in Acton Vale, our village will welcome young and old with everything they need for an unforgettable stay.
Whether with family, friends or on their own, this event brings together thousands of cyclists to ride the most beautiful routes, and meet up in the village in the evening to share memorable evenings in a festive atmosphere!

Reducing our environmental footprint
To make our events more eco-friendly, we strongly recommend that you bring your own reusable utensils and crockery. This initiative is in line with our eco-responsibility approach and will considerably reduce our waste. Washbasins and dishwashing facilities will be provided near the Festidouches.
*Unfortunately, it is impossible to recover compostable materials, as the service is not available in the towns we visited.
Shuttles
If you have chosen the shuttle option, here are the meeting points:
You must arrive at your meeting point 30 minutes before departure.
Montreal: École Le Plateau - 3700 Av. Calixa-Lavalée, Montreal, Quebec, H2L 3A8 - departure June 28 at 7:00 a.m. / return June 30 at 5:00 p.m.
Saint-Lambert: Collège Champlain - 900 Riverside Street, Saint-Lambert, Quebec, J4P 3P2 - departure June 28 at 7:30 a.m. / return June 30 at 4:30 p.m.
Cégep de Drummondville: 960 Rue Saint-Georges, Drummondville, QC J2C 4P8 - arrival at start site on June 28 at 10:00 a.m. / departure from start site on June 30 at 3:00 p.m.
Day 0, to get your Petite Aventure off to a flying start

The big departure
Parking
You can leave your vehicle at the start site. The cost of parking for the three days is $10 per vehicle, payable at the entrance. Cash only. The money is donated to a local sports team as part of a fundraising campaign. See parking map.

Luggage
After arriving at the departure site, you can leave your luggage with the truck for transport to the village. A valet service is available for those who do not wish to take their luggage to the truck. The service is provided by a local sports team, for which the event is a fundraiser. A fee of $2 per bag is charged, payable in cash directly to the valets. As this is a fundraiser, feel free to donate more!
The option of adding an extra piece of luggage is available again this year. If you didn't select it when you booked, you can contact our team to add it to your package. You can also take advantage of this offer on site when you depart on June 28. The cost is $40 per additional baggage item. You will be given a grey bracelet to identify this baggage.
Wristbands
Due to the risk of a Canada Post strike, your wristbands will be issued at the Drummondville departure site on Days 0 and 1.
- Pale blue bracelets: You will receive two (2).
- You'll need a wristband to enter the village and collect your meals.
- The BAGAGE bracelet must be worn on your luggage.
- Green and white wristbands: If you have chosen a vegetarian/vegan (green wristband) or gluten-free (white wristband) menu, you will also need to wear these wristbands.

Tent rental
Have you rented a tent from Vélo Québec Voyages? You have been given a tent card. The number on the card corresponds to the number of your tent. Please attach it to your luggage (your luggage will be identified with a card and a blue bracelet). At the departure site, please drop off your luggage at the "Camion bagages Location Tente" truck.

On the road
Day 1 - Drummondville to Acton Vale
Today marks the grand start of La Petite Aventure 2025 presented by Lait! We hope your chains are oiled, your shorts adjusted and your tires inflated, because today, we're rolling!
Rendezvous in Drummondville for the grand start of La Petite Aventure! Then on to Wickham for lunch, before setting up the village in Acton Vale.

Day 3 - Acton Vale to Drummondville
All good things must come to an end, and today sadly marks the end of the 28th Petite Aventure presented by Milk. To end on a high note, we're returning to our starting point at Cégep de Drummondville, where we'll take you along some lovely country roads before reaching our final destination for the end of this Petite Aventure.
Acton Vale, Saint-Nazaire-d'Acton and back to Drummondville.

As life is well done, everything is in the same place! Every day in the village, you'll find :

A limited number of jerseys will be on sale at the information booth on the day of the event.
If you ordered your jersey online before April 15, it will be delivered to you at the Info booth when you arrive at La Petite Aventure.

FAQ
Transporting your luggage
At La Petite Aventure, we transport your luggage from one stopover to the next. We accept only one piece of luggage per person. For your own safety and that of our baggage handlers, please ensure that your luggage weighs no more than 22 kg. You must submit your baggage to a weight check at the time of departure in Drummondville. Any excess must be returned to your vehicle.
When you registered, you had the option of choosing an extra piece of luggage. In this case, an additional luggage bracelet will be sent to you. It will also be possible to take advantage of the extra baggage at departure, on June 28 in Drummondville, at a cost of$40.
The Petite Aventure route day by day
In the tab for each DAY, you'll find the routes on the Ride with GPS application, as well as maps in printable format (PDF).
To help you plan your Petite Aventure, it's possible - using a phone, computer or tablet - to consult maps and topographical profiles with the Ride with GPS platform.
This platform offers you an array of superior functionalities:
- Voice navigation
- Offline access to maps
- Maps and detailed itineraries (cuesheets) in PDF format (data provided for information purposes only)
- Advanced route notifications with GPX (or TCX) files. If you would like to access these features, please register for the Ride with GPS event.
You'll be asked to register if you're new to the site, or to log in if you already have an account. It's free. The event will be automatically synchronized with your mobile and online account.Do you have a GPS or a smartphone? Consult the short navigation guide to familiarize yourself with the Ride with GPS platform. Please note that the application is available in English only.
One week before the Petite Aventure, you'll receive an e-mail updating the course maps, including the presence of restrooms. It's best to wait for this last update before downloading the data to your GPS, if necessary.
Insurance coverage
It is the responsibility of each traveler to ensure adequate insurance coverage (medical, luggage and bicycle). Vélo Québec Voyages assumes no responsibility for loss, theft or damage to your luggage and personal effects (including your bike) during your trip, including transportation of your bike by truck. Please note that many home insurance companies cover property damaged or stolen outside the home. Check with your company.
Road behaviour
We won't be the only ones out and about over the long weekend. You'll be driving partly on the road network, and the roads won't be closed to vehicular traffic. We ask you to bear this in mind and to DRIVE AWAY. Take this opportunity to remind any youngsters accompanying you. The organization has made a commitment to the authorities to be more "cyclocivist" and will not hesitate to call you to order if your behavior puts your life and that of others in danger.
Beaconing
The route is signposted. These signs will also indicate the presence of various service points (toilets, refreshments, lunch stops, water, etc.). Any last-minute detours will be indicated by DETOUR signs.
Closing of optional courses
Optionals indicate a closing time so that all participants can cross the finish line before 6 pm. In addition to being indicated on the course sign at the start of the optional course, closing time information is also provided on maps, where applicable.
Charging point for electronic devices
If you need to recharge your phone, tablet or bike computer, go to the school's designated charging station, where a space is provided for this purpose. Details to follow.
Meals and allergies
When you registered, we asked you to choose a meal type (regular/vegetarian or vegan/gluten-free). However, we are aware that some participants may have more specific allergies or intolerances.
Full menus are available on the daily pages of this Petit Déchaîné. If you'd like more details on ingredients and meal preparation, the on-site catering service has a complete list of ingredients and can provide you with the information you need to make sure you don't eat any foods to which you're allergic.
RV camping/camping
First of all, please note thatno utilities are provided, so it will not be possible to connect your van to an electrical outlet as well as a water connection.
1. On the day of your departure, make sure you hang the small card with the van number you received in the post on your rear-view mirror. This confirms that your vehicle is registered for the event. If you haven't received one, we can give you one at the Drummondville information booth on the morning of your departure.
2. Arrive at the start site at Cégep de Drummondville (960 Rue Saint-Georges, Drummondville, QC J2C 4P8) between 7:30 and 8:45 am. You will need to drop off your bike and give your name at the information booth to confirm your arrival. Your bikes will be supervised by our team until your return.
3. You can then drive your van to the village of Ormstown, to the Polyvalente Robert-Ouimet (1450 Av. 3e, Acton Vale, QC J0H 1A0) to park between 8:15 and 9:15 am. A team member will be on hand to show you where to park. Shuttle buses, for passengers only (without bikes), will take you back to Drummondville so you can start your bike. They will leave at 8:30 and 9:30 a.m.
4. On the last day of the adventure, July 1, you'll need to move your van from Acton Vale to the arrival site in Drummondville between 8:15 and 9:15 am. A team member will be on hand to show you where to park. Shuttle buses, for passengers only (without bikes), will bring you back to Ormstown village at 8:30 and 9:30 a.m. so you can start your bike.

Broken bracelet
If you've damaged your wristband during the Petite Aventure, come to the INFO booth with your wristband and we'll exchange it for an undamaged one.
