Introduction to cyclo-camping

Do you dream of freedom, fresh air and adventure? Have you always dreamed of taking up cycle touring? but don't know where where to start? As part of the 30th anniversary of the Route Verte, Vélo Québec Voyages and Parc Canada offer you an introductory an introduction to cyclocampingoffered in a format accessible to the whole family.

At departure from Montreal, and accompanied by a Vélo Québec Voyages guide, you'll make your way to the Chambly Canal, taking in almost almost the route verte.

Once you arrive at the ephemeral camping site, several workshops will be offered to help you à planifier a cyclocamping holiday through the following themeses: equipment from camping equipment from bicycle, planning planninga stay, breakdown troubleshooting and much more.

At the end of the day, thehe group will enjoy a convivial meal before gathering around the fire for a magical evening of toasted marshmallows and stories of adventure. tales of adventure!

Package including

1 night camping; tent and mattress provided;

Day 1 dinner, breakfast and dinner on day 2Lunch on day 1;

  • At the campsite, access to workshops and activities;
  • Access to drinking water;
  • Chemical toilet;
  • Access to an on-site community campfire;
  • Luggage transportation (one per person, maximum 15 kg);
  • Supervision by a VQV guide for the duration of the event;
  • Mechanical repairs and access to a support vehicle;
  • Taxes;
  • Travel Agent Customer Indemnity Fund (TACIF) coverage of $1 per $1,000 and applicable discount.
