From Papineauville to Plantagenet
It's already the end of the Grand Tour! Before saying goodbye, let's take advantage of the region's quiet roads one last time, and ride a few dozen kilometers together to Plantagenet.
A little boat ride! A few kilometers after the start, you'll have the chance to take the Lefaivre-Montebello ferry to the Ontario side of this final day of the Grand Tour. Access to the ferry is included in your registration fee, and you can use it on presentation of your participant bracelet.
Want to reach the finish line without pedaling? Treat yourself to the Day Offshuttle! It will leave Papineauville at 9:30 a.m. and reach the finish line at Plantegenet via the lunch stop, where you can pick up your lunch. To reserve your place on the shuttle, drop by the Info booth on Wednesday evening. The cost of the shuttle is $20 per person.
Want to know more about Plantagenet? Learn more about the town and its attractions by stopping by the municipal kiosk at the finish site between 1:00 and 5:00 p.m.!
Have you decided to take the shuttle home? Meet at the Plantagenet arrival parking lot at 3:30 p.m. to take the shuttle. Shuttle departs at 4:00 p.m., stops in Saint-Lambert at 7:00 p.m. and arrives in Lévis at 10:00 p.m.

- Pick up Vélo Québec merchandise at our Finish Line Boutique between 11:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
- Come and enjoy a good beer from Siboire, the official beer of the Grand Tour, when you arrive in Plantagenet.
- If you have any questions, unforeseen circumstances or last-minute changes, come and see us at the Vélo Québec INFO booth. The INFO booth in Papineauville village will be open from 6:30 am to 10:00 am. The one at the finish is open from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

On the road

Regular route, 83 km
The final regular route of this Grand Tour will offer a final reminder of the region's natural beauty, as you ride along the Ottawa River in the morning, first into Ontario towards Lefaivre, and then on to L'Orignal, before heading back into Ontario from the lunch stop at Vankleek Hill. In the afternoon, we visit the small villages of the area before arriving in Plantagenet to celebrate the achievements of this wonderful week spent together.
Shortcut, 33 km
Whether your legs are heavy, or you've just got dinner tonight, today's shortcut will get you back to Plantagenet in a hurry, all on a beautiful route that will take you along both banks of the Ottawa River.
ATTENTION: This route does not include the lunch stop. If you wish to take this route, please mention it when you pick up your dinner in the village the day before, so that we can plan your dinner in the village.
Ravito stop 1, km 14
To return to Plantagenet, take the Lefaivre-Montebello ferry. Take advantage of this opportunity to fill your water bottles, eat some fruit and get some fresh air before crossing the Ottawa River.
Optional route 1, +19 km
In the morning, work up an appetite with this optional 19 km exploration of the small village of Caledonia Springs.
Lunch stop - km 45
For lunch, head to the heart of the beautiful village of Vankleek Hill, to the Vankleek Hill Fair, where you can enjoy a leisurely lunch before hitting the road for the last afternoon of your Grand Tour!
Enjoy the cheese of the day, courtesy of Fromages d'ici: Fromage en grains (Fromagerie Victoria).
The lunch stop is open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Optional route 2, + 33 km
Wish this Grand Tour never ended? Well... that's not possible, but you can always extend your cycling afternoon with this second optional tour of the day, which will take you a little further into the Southern Ontario countryside. You'll pass through the villages of Saint-Bernardin, Dunvegan, Maxville and Saint-Isidore, before rejoining the regular route at the Fournier rest stop.
Gravito stop - km 70
Your last stop-ravito takes you to Parkers Corner, yet another pretty little town, where you can recharge your batteries before the home stretch!
In the village and at the finish
Before setting off from Papineauville, you can :
- Wake up with a good cup of coffee, whether you want an espresso, a cappuccino or a latté, at the Escape Café kiosk from 6:30 to 10:00. Don't forget your reusable cup!
- Shower at Festidouches between 6 a.m. and 9 a.m. Take advantage of the Pure products available.
When you arrive in Plantagenet, you can :
- Have a drink (or two, or three... ) at the arrival bistro between 3:00 and 6:00 pm.
- Enjoy the musical atmosphere between 11:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m.
- Purchase a Vélo Québec item at the finish site boutique from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
