Amid spectacular gorges and hilltop villages

Set amid wild and sun-drenched nature, Haute-Provence boasts some of the most spectacular landscapes in Europe. With its rugged mountains, lavender-scented plateaus, hilltop villages, and winding roads flanked by dizzying gorges, every day on a bike is an adventure in itself. From Castellane to the narrow streets of Grasse, you’ll ride along breathtakingly beautiful scenic routes, explore the Verdon Gorge—Europe’s largest canyon—and pass through picturesque villages like Moustiers-Sainte-Marie, ranked among the most beautiful in France.

Free days give you the chance to take your time exploring at your own pace—whether that means venturing out on beautiful looped bike rides or enjoying a well-deserved break at an outdoor café with a view of the Alps. Alpine roads, wild ridges, hidden valleys, and breathtaking panoramas… this trip is a celebration of freedom and the joy of cycling. A challenging yet deeply inspiring itinerary, perfect for lovers of the great outdoors and athletic challenges.
