Guadeloupe, land of cycling! With its dreamlike setting, tropical maritime climate, smooth asphalt, and cycling tradition—already 60 years of international cycling tours on this small French territory—there's no doubt that on the butterfly archipelago, you'll have wings!
From Pointe-à-Pitre, you will drive across Grande-Terre, a plain bordered by mangroves to the southwest, where you will also find the popular Riviera, then on to Marie-Galante, a hilly island nicknamed "Grande Galette"; and finally to the island of Basse-Terre, which is mountainous and covered with tropical forest from north to south, where there are many rivers and waterfalls, not to mention its summit: the Soufrière volcano, which rises to 1,467 m.
With the Self-guided option, enjoy your stay however you want, in complete independence. We give you the itinerary, book your accommodation, and the rest is up to you!
