A dream setting

Guadeloupe, a cyclist’s paradise! With its idyllic setting, tropical maritime climate, smooth asphalt, and cycling tradition—this small French territory has already hosted 60 years of international cycling tours. There’s no doubt that on the “Butterfly Archipelago,” you’ll feel like you’re flying!

From Pointe-à-Pitre, you’ll drive across the island of Grande-Terre—a plain bordered by mangroves to the southwest, where the popular Riviera is also located—then on to the hilly island of Marie-Galante, nicknamed “Grande Galette”; and finally to the island of Basse-Terre, which is mountainous and covered with tropical forest from north to south, where numerous rivers and waterfalls abound, not to mention its highest point: the Soufrière volcano, rising to 1,467 meters.
