Opened in 2022, the Véloroute Gourmande is a bike route that connects Montreal and Sherbrooke, highlighting the many culinary attractions located within 5 kilometers of the route. There are no fewer than 120 of them!
This route is largely inspired by the Véloroute Gourmande, but at times veers off the beaten path to wind through idyllic stretches of secondary gravel roads.
Another difference is that this route does not offer luggage transport. Here, we embrace the spirit of cycle touring: a slow pace, simplicity, and freedom.
You don’t need to be an expert or have all the gear: everything—from the bike to the panniers—is available for rent, making the experience accessible to anyone who wants to give it a try without any hassles. Bonus: This travel experience is easier on the budget, while still letting you feel satisfied with the physical effort you put into carrying your own luggage. It’s a hybrid travel option that combines the best of “all-inclusive” travel with complete independence!
If you only have a few days to explore all that Quebec has to offer in terms of cuisine, this is the perfect way to do it!

With the “ Self-guided ” package, enjoy your trip on your own terms, with complete independence. We’ll provide you with the itinerary and book your accommodations—the rest is up to you!
Package includes
4 nights in a hotel, motel, bed-and-breakfast, or inn, based on double occupancy;
4 breakfasts;
- the shuttle between Magog and Montreal;
- GPX data, maps, and daily itineraries in electronic format;
- taxes;
- information to ensure a smooth trip: contact information and phone numbers for transportation providers at the destination, bike shops, an emergency contact number, etc.;
- protection under the Travel Agent Customer Compensation Fund (FICAV), which amounts to $1 per $1,000 and the applicable discount.
Not included: luggage transport between each stop; visits to attractions along the route (these are provided as suggestions only); transportation to the departure point for the passenger, their luggage, and their bicycle; equipment, such as the bicycle; a guide; mechanical assistance and access to a support vehicle; expenses incurred in the event of mechanical or physical mishaps.
