Opened in 2022, the Véloroute Gourmande is a bike route connecting Montreal and Sherbrooke that highlights the many culinary attractions located within 5 kilometers of the route. There are no fewer than 120 of them!
This route is largely inspired by the Véloroute Gourmande, but occasionally veers off the beaten path to explore picturesque stretches of secondary gravel roads.
Another difference is that this route does not include luggage transport. Here, we embrace the spirit of cycle touring: a slow pace, simplicity, and freedom.
You don’t need to be an expert or have all the gear: everything from the bike to the panniers is available for rent, making the experience accessible to anyone who wants to give it a try without any hassle. Bonus: This travel experience is easier on the budget, while still letting you feel good about the physical effort you put into carrying your luggage. A hybrid travel option that combines the best of “all-inclusive” and complete independence!
If you only have a few days to explore all that Quebec has to offer in terms of food, this is the perfect way to do it!
With the Self-guided option, enjoy your trip at your own pace and on your own terms. We’ll provide you with the itinerary and book your accommodations—the rest is up to you!
