Opened in 2022, the Véloroute Gourmande is a bike route connecting Montreal and Sherbrooke that highlights the many culinary attractions located within 5 kilometers of the route. There are no fewer than 120 of them! This five-day journey is therefore the perfect opportunity to explore the Montérégie and the Eastern Townships by bike on scenic, car-free paths, with plenty of opportunities for culinary stops.
Explore picturesque landscapes, nestled among lakes and hills, and stop by local producers to sample the best of the region.
Relatively flat, the route is suitable for cyclists of all levels, and its 235 kilometers can be easily divided into four days of cycling, allowing you to enjoy both the ride itself and the many places to stop along the way.
If you only have a few days to explore all that Quebec has to offer in terms of food, this is the perfect way to do it!
