Cycle Well, Eat Better

Opened in 2022, the Véloroute Gourmande is a bike route that connects Montreal and Sherbrooke, highlighting the many culinary attractions located within 5 kilometers of the route. There are no fewer than 120 of them! This five-day journey is therefore the perfect opportunity to explore the Montérégie and the Eastern Townships by bike on idyllic, car-free trails, with plenty of opportunities for culinary stops along the way.

Explore picturesque landscapes—from lakes to rolling hills—while stopping at local producers’ farms to sample the best the region has to offer. Relatively flat, the route is accessible to all types of cyclists, and its 235 kilometers can be easily divided into four days of cycling, allowing you to enjoy both the ride and the many places to stop along the way.

If you only have a few days to explore all that Quebec has to offer in terms of cuisine, this is the perfect way to do it!
