Discover the country’s rich cycling heritage along your route, which will take you to the karst plateau, known for its network of more than 8,000 underground caves, including Postojna Cave.
Then, as you cycle along the picturesque Soča Gorge, you’ll reach Triglav National Park and its long mountain pass leading to Slovenia’s must-see attraction: Lake Bled, with its island and monastery—the most photographed spot in the country.
Next, Celje, the fortified “City of Princes,” offers cultural activities and thermal baths—perfect for satisfying your curiosity and your need for relaxation after long days of cycling!
From there, the peaceful and scenic Krka River Valley will take you to the charming capital, Ljubljana, with its Parisian-style architecture and cuisine. Welcome!
