From one lighthouse to another

Nova Scotia is the soul of Canada's Atlantic coast: peaceful, bright, and authentic. This bike trip takes you along a spectacular stretch of coastline, where small coves shelter colorful fishing boats and lighthouses watch over the sea. From Shelburne to Halifax, via Lunenburg—a UNESCO World Heritage Site—you'll cycle between wild beaches, historic ports, and welcoming villages where the irresistible scent of the ocean hangs in the air.

With its scenic route, each day offers its share of postcard views: a ferry crossing on the LaHave River, a gourmet stop at an artisan bakery, roads lined with spruce trees, and endless maritime panoramas. Free days allow you to enjoy the trip at your own pace: explore further by bike... or let yourself be lulled by the calm of the Atlantic coast. A perfect itinerary for lovers of the sea, simplicity, and long cycling trips.
